Deborah Attoinese is an award winning photographer, director and writer.  

 

Overall Productions is Deborah's indie production company named after a pair of her favorite overalls which represent digging in and getting the job done.

Originally from New York, Deborah began her career as a self-taught

fashion photographer.  Her signature style has appeared in the pages of

The Sunday New York Times, Details Magazine and more. Her first short film quickly garnered the attention of Propaganda Films and relocated to Los Angeles where she made her  first full length feature film;  ZOE with co-writer Amy Dawes.  ZOE  screened throughout the USA and abroad including the: AFI, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Taos and the Mar Del Plata Film festivals.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deborah then went on to make ON DIRECTING,  a full length documentary featuring Agnes Varda, Wim Wenders, Bille August and Roland Joffe. SNAIL, Deborah's whimsical short romantic comedy features Brendan Hunt and Yvonne Zima was awarded Best Short Film at the Broad  Humor Film Festival and won a San Francisco Film Award of Excellence.  Her short film GIRL KNIGHT stars two talented newcomers; Darla Dean Lewis and Pilar Petropolous-White and was completed after a successful Kickstarter (Staff Pick) campaign and then selected  to participate as an Indiewire Project of the Week.​

 

Forever passionate about world and environmental issues, Deborah donates her photo and filmmaking skills to several causes including THE PEACE PROJECT in Los Angeles which she received an Inspiration Award.
