Deborah Attoinese is an award winning photographer, director and writer.  


Overall Productions is Deborah's indie production company named after a pair of her favorite overalls which represent digging in and getting the job done.

We work with a team of talented collaborators and shoot film, digital, long and short form content, EPK's, documentary and narrative. Some of our clients include: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, HOK Architects, Hollywood Pictures,  Tri-Star Pictures, Costco, Conde Nast Publications and more.

Originally from New York, Deborah began her career as a self-taught

fashion photographer.  Her signature style has appeared in the pages of

The Sunday New York Times, Details Magazine and more. Her first short film quickly garnered the attention of Propaganda Films and relocated to Los Angeles where she made her  first full length feature film;  ZOE with co-writer Amy Dawes.  ZOE  screened throughout the USA and abroad including the: AFI, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Taos and the Mar Del Plata Film festivals.


Deborah then went on to make ON DIRECTING,  a full length documentary that 

takes an in-depth look at the filmmakers journey and features iconic directors

Agnes Varda, Bille August, Roland Joffe and Wim Wenders.

SNAIL, Deborah's whimsical short romantic comedy features Brendan Hunt and Yvonne Zima premiered at the Palm Springs International Shortfestt and was awarded Best Short Film at the Broad  Humor Film Festival. It also won a San Francisco Film Award of Excellence. Short Film of the Month in the United Kingdom and was nominated for a Golden Horse Comedy and Best Ensemble Acting Award by the Connect Film Festival.

Deborah's latest short film; GIRL KNIGHT stars two talented newcomers; Darla Dean Lewis and Pilar Petropolous-White and was completed after a successful Kickstarter (Staff Pick) campaign and then selected  to participate as an Indiewire Project of the Week.

Currently in the works is WELCOME TO CONCRETE an episodic series for cable, LADY LIBERTY an original digital series and WOMEN OF THE WILDLANDS a feature documentary that deals with the on going sexual harassment and gender discrimination that has plagued the U.S. National Parks and Forest Service for years.


Forever passionate about world and environmental issues, Deborah donates her photo and filmmaking skills to several causes including THE PEACE PROJECT in Los Angeles which she received an Inspiration Award.
